Before we get into the process of cleaning the mouse pad. Here’s is what all you’ll need to clean the mouse:
- A big bowl
- Washing liquid or a soap
- Old Toothbrush
Now that you have grabbed all that is needed to wash the mouse pad let’s clean it.
If your mouse mat is too big and it doesn’t fit in the bowl, you can even use wash basin to clean it. The whole point here is to make the mouse mat wet from both the sides.
How to Clean a Mousepad
Step 1: Dip the mouse mat in the bowl or put it in the wash basin.
Step 2: Wet the whole mouse mat from both the sides.
Step 3: Pour washing liquid in the bowl or the basin.
Step 4: With soft hands, rub the surface with the old toothbrush.
Step 5: Repeat the same process on the other side of the mouse mat.
NOTE: If you don’t have both washing liquid and soap then you can use shampoo as well.
Once all the dirt is removed from the mouse mat, make sure you take out all the foam liquid from the mouse mat and clean it properly with your hands. Next, you need to dry your mouse mat, and for that, you can use a hair dryer or a towel. Regardless of what method you choose your mouse mat will still hold some water in it.
Allow 24 hours of time to let it completely dry. Once done, now you can get a crystal clear mouse mat to use, or you can say a brand new mouse mat.
