Step 2: Next up, search for the Highlight Tool from the add-ons library. Once done, grant the permission access to the tool on your Google account.
Step 3: Again go the Add-ons menu and select the Highlight Tool (which you just downloaded). Hover over it and select the first option that says “Start.”
Step 4: As soon as you’ll click on Start option you’ll now see a menu on the right-hand side.
Step 5: Lastly, select the text that you want to highlight and choose the color of your liking to highlight the text.
How To Highlight Text In Google Docs on Android?
If you aren’t a frequent desktop user and prefer mobile to refer your docs. Here’s how you can highlight text in an Android device.
Step 1: Double-click on the word phrase or paragraph that you want to highlight and click on the “A” option which you’ll see down at your screen as soon as you select the text.
Step 2: Select the desired color from a bunch of color options available to you.
